This leaflet provides instructions on how to insert your right hearing aid. If you would like further information, or have any worries, please ask your audiologist.

Step 1 & 2
1. With your right hand hold the edge of the earmould between your index finger and thumb.
2. The upper part shown (top arrow on the picture) is placed under the crease at the top of the ear (top arrow on the picture). The lower part shown (bottom arrow on the picture) goes into your ear canal (bottom arrow on the picture).

3. Feel for your jawbone joint next to your right ear with a finger on your left hand

4. Lift the earmould in your right hand to touch the finger on the jawbone joint.
Step 5
5. Gently move it back slightly and slide the earmould into your ear canal.
Step 6
6. It is a good idea to check that the top of the earmould is tucked nicely in place underneath the crease at the top of the ear.
Step 7
7. Your earmould should now be correctly and comfortably in place. The earmould should be under the crease at the top of the ear. The lower part of the earmould should be placed all the way into your ear canal.
Step 8
8. Lift the hearing aid over your ear and place it so it rests behind the ear.
Step 9
9. The hearing aid should now sit behind your ear.

10.This is how it will look when you have successfully inserted your hearing aid into your right ear.
