Biography

Dr Goldring trained at the London Chest, Royal Brompton and University College London (UCL) hospitals before being appointed consultant in respiratory and general medicine to the Royal Free London (RFL) in 2011. In addition, he holds appointments as clinical associate professor at UCL and medical examiner. At RFL, he is lead clinician for pleural and bronchoscopy services.

He is research active and has published widely including in: covid-19, pleural disease, lung cancer, COPD, bronchoscopy, and non-invasive ventilation.
Outside of work he enjoys campervanning with his family and growing produce on their allotment.
