Biography
Mr Mishra started in 2010 as a consultant urological surgeon at Royal Free Hospital where he is involved in research, training and education. He serves the University College London as the lead for undergraduate urological teaching and has been a principal investigator for multi-centre clinical trials.
He completed his urological training on the six-year higher surgical rotational training programme in London, including the last two years as a fellow in female and reconstructive urology at the Institute of Urology at University College London Hospital.
In his clinical practice, he looks after patients with urinary incontinence, neurogenic bladder dysfunction, urinary tract infections, benign prostatic hyperplasia, haematuria, bladder cancer and peno-scrotal problems.
His research interests include urinary incontinence and infections, not only because these comprise a significant part of his practice, but also because he believes the evidence base in these areas is poor.
