Miss Eleni Mavrides

Biography

Ms Mavrides is a consultant obstetrician and gynaecologist, with special interest in laparoscopic (keyhole) surgery, at the Royal Free Hospital.

She trained as an undergraduate at Guy’s and St Thomas Hospitals Medical School, London and completed specialty training in obstetrics and gynaecology at St George’s Hospital Medical school and Queen Charlotte’s and Hammersmith Hospitals, gaining widespread experience.

From 1999-2001, she completed research in obstetric ultrasound. In 2004, she completed a doctorate of medicine at the University of London and gained the advanced diploma in obstetric ultrasound for the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. She achieved multiple publications in peer-reviewed journals.

She completed a fellowship in minimal access surgery at St Mary’s, Watford General and Chelsea and Westminster Hospitals with surgical experience in oncology, infertility, menstrual disorders and fibroids.

She is an examiner at the University of London. She is involved in training obstetricians and gynaecologists at all levels.
