Biography

Mr Marks was born and raised in London. He attended University Warwick Medical School as a post-graduate and completed his orthopaedic training in Coventry and Warwickshire.

He studied clinical epidemiology at University College London, investigating the functional outcomes of adolescents and young adults with osteonecrosis, secondary to developmental dysplasia of the hip (DDH).

He completed specialist fellowship training in paediatric orthopaedic surgery at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in Stanmore, and The Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, Canada.

Mr Marks has a particular interest in the holistic care of children with cerebral palsy and other neuromuscular disorders. Using an inter-disciplinary approach, he works in close collaboration with paediatricians, therapy teams, schools and families.

Treatment of other conditions include DDH, Perthes disease, clubfeet, skeletal dysplasia, deformity correction, benign bone tumours, and paediatric trauma.
