A planning application has been submitted for a garden to be created on the fourth-floor balcony, accessible from the intensive care unit (ICU) at the Royal Free Hospital.
The trust is committed to supporting staff health and wellbeing. The garden, which will be funded by the Royal Free Charity, the Ezra Umarpeh charity and the Cecil Rosen Foundation, will provide staff who work in the ICU with a dedicated outside space to focus on their wellbeing. It will be somewhere they can unwind in a calm, relaxed environment.
You will be able to view the planning application on Camden Council's website in the next couple of weeks. There will also be an opportunity to comment on the plans when it is available on the Council's website.
