The RMT union has announced a series of strikes which are set to take place over the next few months. If the strikes go ahead they will cause severe disruption to Southern rail journeys. 

Strikes are due to take place on:

  • Friday 4 November to Saturday 5 November
  • Tuesday 22 November to Wednesday 23 November
  • Tuesday 6 December to Thursday 8 December
  • Thursday 22 December to Saturday 24 December
  • Saturday 31 December 2016 to Monday 2 January 2017.

Patients and visitors are advised to refer to the Southern website before they travel.
