Dr Ahmed Yousseif

Biography

Dr Yousseif is a consultant in endocrinology and diabetes, providing a comprehensive service for patients with all types of diabetes and dndocrine conditions.

He became a member of the Royal College of Physicians in 2002 and undertook his specialist training in diabetes and endocrinology in the University College London Hospital (UCLH) specialist registrar rotational programme of the London Deanery.

Dr Yousseif undertook three years of research towards a PhD degree in the field of obesity and bariatrics at the UCLH Centre for Weight Loss, Metabolic & Endocrine Surgery. His research work has been published in peer-reviewed papers.

He was appointed as a substantive consultant in endocrinology and diabetes at Ashford and St Peter’s Hospitals, where he practises across all aspects of diabetes and endocrinology.

Dr Yousseif is the medical lead for diabetes foot complex MDT, the medical lead for tier four bariatric services, and the clinical lead for the acute medical service at Ashford and St Peter’s Hospitals.
